English Translation
Ukraine Has Not Yet Perished
The glory and freedom of Ukraine have not yet perished,

And we too, brothers, shall rule in our own land.

Although widely sung earlier, ‘Ukraine Has Not Yet Perished’ became Ukraine’s official anthem in 2003, well after the country regained independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.
