Hello!

My name is Douglas Wilson and I’m trying to build the best online database of national anthems on the web. I’m British and I’m sorry to say that, in my opinion, we have one of the dreariest and most alienating national anthems I’ve ever heard.

You can find lyrics elsewhere on the web, but I want to bring them all together and also add videos where I can to showcase the most stirring and evocative performances (like Whitney Houston singing Star Spangled Banner)

I’m really hoping that people contact me with suggestions and possible improvements. I have found that some national anthems have different versions and if any natives out there can correct my editing, that’s appreciated.
